HISTORY

Let Everything that has Breathe Praise the Lord

Praise Chapel was founded on December 17, 2007, when its first service was held in a hired hall owned by the Star of the Sea Girls. The inaugural service drew approximately 100 worshipers.

The ministry’s establishment was spearheaded by Bishop Tee Nalo, who envisioned a dynamic and impactful church. To facilitate the coordination of ministry activities, Bishop Tee Nalo set up a dedicated team shortly after the church’s inception. Various ministries were formed during this time among them being the Men’s ministry, Women’s ministry, Eagles ministry (focused on young adults), Youth ministry, Children’s ministry, and the Missions ministry.

These ministries have made a significant impact on the lives of individuals and the surrounding communities by addressing spiritual, social, and developmental needs.

The Church was then officially launched in February 2008, marking a significant milestone in its journey

Legal Framework and Governance
Praise Chapel operates under the Societies Act of Kenya (Cap 108) and complies with all statutory requirements. The church’s activities are guided by a registered constitution, which is implemented through comprehensive policies, procedures, strategic plans, and an organizational structure. This legal and organizational framework ensures accountability and structured growth in the ministry.

Church Growth and Strategic Expansion
Praise Chapel has established several church plants, in Voi, Doti, Sigomere, Busia, Umala and Mbosie. These branches serve as hubs for spiritual nourishment and community outreach, broadening the church’s impact across various regions.

Since its founding, Praise Chapel has remained steadfast in its vision of serving God and transforming lives. Guided by strong leadership, effective governance, and a commitment to holistic ministry, the church continues to impact lives, grow its congregation, and glorify God in all its endeavors.
